Those of you still sitting in the pre-beer-buying ages rejoice, this December the 13th sees the inaugural Momentum Festival launch at the University of Canberra.
Big name DJs and the crew behind Foreshore means this will probably quite a slick event, so check it out.
Kicks Entertainment has teamed up with Raw FM to launch Canberra’s premier youth event! After receiving so many requests for an exclusively underage event Kicks has developed their very first underage festival, MOMENTUM Festival.
For this special event Kicks will be bringing in the same production team that have delivered Canberra’s much loved festivals Foreshore & Warehouse to produce crystal clear audio, amazing visual effects and cutting edge lighting to create the festival experience for Canberra’s young music lovers.
To be held for the very first time this December, Kicks has confirmed the very best Australian talent to kick-off the MOMENTUM festival. Headlining the event will be the country’s recently voted winner of the inthemix Awards 2013, the STAFFORD BROTHERS along side the runner up hotshot WILL SPARKS!
Supporting these two huge headliners are local scene heavyweight performers Rawson, DJ Rush & Runamark plus more to be announced.
The website continually mentions that this is a strict under 18’s event, which I assume means no old people are allowed so ummm… enjoy? I won’t see you there.
Tickets go on sale Thursday 26th September 2013 at 9am. For those who get in and buy their ticket early, there will be a limited allocation of reduced price early bird tickets available. For the industry hipsters, Kicks is offering a VIP ticket which gives you your own private soft drink bar, elevated viewing area, VIP lanyard and opportunity to mingle with the artists.
