ACT Opposition Arts spokesman Richard Mulcahy urges Canberrans to get involved in the Fringe Festival after he had a good time at the launch.
The Fringe Festival runs concurrently with the Multicultural Festival in and around the Street Theatre. Mr Mulchay describes it as “ideal for relaxing for anything from just a few hours to the whole day”.
He said that at the festival’s opening, “I had the opportunity to speak to patrons from interstate and even overseas as well as many local residents.”
Was anyone out there one of these people who talked to Mr Mulcahy at the opening? And can you tell me if our real Arts Minister was there? I hear on the grapevine that he all but never turns up to any arts events in Canberra.
