ACT Policing is calling for witnesses to an altercation that occurred outside the Hostage Lounge Bar & Tapas in Dickson on Sunday September 9.
Around 1.50am, a group of young males were sitting outside the bar on Challis Street when they were approached by a man described as of Mediterranean appearance. A physical altercation ensued resulting in three males being knocked to the ground.
A short time later in a separate incident a 47 year-old male victim was knocked to the ground by the same suspect. The victim was taken to Calvary Hospital suffering head injuries.
The suspect is described as approximately (6’3”) tall of solid athletic build who was wearing a grey T-shirt and dark coloured pants.
Police would urge anyone who may have witnessed the altercation, or the events leading up to the assault to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
