The city’s administrators and bureaucrats will band together this weekend as the Dept of Rock makes its return. The All Stars show will take place at Smith’s Alternative on Saturday night, complete with sets from Adventure St, The DUDs and more.
Later that night, Smith’s will host Off The Top No Writtens, a freestyle rap competition in which wordsmiths from far and wide will battle for prizes and bragging rights.
Also on Saturday, Ash Grunwald will stop in at The Street Theatre while Ruth Lorelle brings the ‘3D Movie’ single tour to sideway.
