It is interesting. I first saw it on a colour managed display (properly set up using a colourimeter) and it looks fine.
When I saw your comment, I turned off the management and used the default monitor profile, and could see where you’re coming from. It did look more harsh and even showed some posterisation.
Pitfall of the internet, one image will look hundreds of different ways.

It is a very nice shot, but my tip would be to buy the filter and spent less time in post. IMO this pic has been pushed that tiny fraction too far.

I haven’t got around to buying a polarizer for the new lens yet, that was all done in post.
I’ll be a good boy and keep my room ever so tidy for teh next month, maybe my wife will let me buy a new filter then. 🙂
Stunning sky, did you use a Cir-Pol or was that in post. Either way looks fantastic!
