Sneaky Sound System are performing at Lake George Winery in November as part of the NSW Government’s initiative to kick-start the recovery of the live music industry with COVID-Safe gigs.

Celebrate NAIDOC Week 2020 with a spectacular curated projection of Indigenous artworks, vibrant and bold on the National Carillon.

Tour of Mulligans Flat’s Aboriginal History

When: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Sunday, 15 November
Where: Mulligans Flat – meet at the woolshed

Join Richie Allen, director of the Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation, for a tour of Mulligans Flat. Learn about the history of scar trees, traditional bush foods and the traditional uses for native plants as Richie Allen shares his Ngunnawal knowledge.

Cooma Roots and Blues Festival and Cooma Rotary Markets

When: Sunday, 15 November, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Where: Centennial Park, Cooma
Cost: Free.

Now in its third year, the Cooma Country Roots and Blues (CRAB) festival started in 2018 as part of the Cooma Rotary Markets. Entry is free and in addition to great music, there are also market stalls to visit and awesome food.

Out of this World – Australia in the Space Age

From the 1950s through to the 1970s, Australia was gripped with excitement as humanity made its first forays beyond Earth’s atmosphere. From cutting-edge scientific research to architecture, design, television, and more, ‘Out of this World’ explores Australia’s role in the space race.

Our experienced guide will lead you away from the house and gardens to places not usually seen by the public within the Lanyon Homestead precinct. Learn about the farming and irrigation of the Homestead, see the homes of workers past and enjoy a delicious damper and billy tea at ‘Bluebeard’s Cottage’ on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River.
