The Cooma Country Roots and Blues (CRAB) festival started in 2018 as part of the Cooma Rotary Markets and is now in its 3rd year. The CRAB is free – made possible by the generous financial support of the Cooma Rotary Club and the Snowy Monaro Regional Council. The objective and values of the CRAB and Markets is “fun day for all the family” ….. especially important these days!

Music will start at about 9 am and go until early afternoon.

The musical line-up is curated by Michael Barry from Self Propelled Artists and lead singer of Australia’s own Stormcellar. This year’s line-up is the usual high-quality talent that Michael has carefully selected and invited. This includes FIONA BOYES, International Blues Player of the Year, Stormcellar Collective, Rose & Co and Wayne Tritton.

The Markets are held in Centennial Park, in the centre of Cooma. The park is grassy and covered with large, shade giving trees. The music performances will be on the park’s fabulous bandshell, so easy to see and hear!

In addition to great music, there are great market stalls to visit and great food. As well as the usual barbecue offering, we will have some great Southern food for both breakfast and lunch prepared by Charlee Hommen our local US ex-pat from Alabama!

As the Park is in the middle of Cooma, and the event is on a Sunday, parking will not be a problem. There are clean toilet facilities in the park.
