NSW Rural Fire Service firefighters are travelling through the ACT to respond to fires in southern NSW.

The community is advised that these vehicles may be responding with lights and sirens.

“We ask drivers to please move over safely to allow these firefighters to respond as quickly as possible,” a NSW RFS spokesperson said

“The fires burning in southern NSW do not pose an immediate threat to the ACT.”

Keep up to date on bushfires in NSW via the NSW Rural Fire Service.

ACT ESA will advise of any fires in the ACT via the ESA website, ESA Facebook and Twitter and via local media.

“There are no fires currently burning in the ACT,” and ESA spokesperson said.
