Seriously though, I could confidently drive all around various regions of ACT without a GPS after living here for a week or so… (moving from Sydney). Although it is kinda useful to not have to worry about getting lost while navigating somewhere… the little adventurer in me would like to have countless new places to end up in by accident, with hidden gems discovered along the way. Am I the only one who feels this way? I love Canberra but man it is fuckin small… it seems to feel smaller the longer I live here 😛 (not entirely complaining)

It is an option on personalised plates, but I think it does cost more. If I remember correctly, those purple police cars with the personalised numberplates have a slogan that says something along the lines of “Making Canberra safer” (I can’t remember exactly what it says).

Nononononono!!!

A slogan like that’s likely to attract people, and we’ve got more than enough of those already.

I prefer “Feel the Power of Canberra” – it must still be keeping people away in their millions. (Not that I’d have one – I don’t want people throwing rocks at my car).
