Parkes Way closures for triathlon festival

By johnboy - 17 January 2014 9

The ACT Government wishes to advise motorists and other road users of a temporary road closure of westbound lanes of Pasrkes Way and a nearby car park for the Triathlon ACT January Festival 2014.

The westbound lanes of Parkes Way between Kimgs Avenue and Glenloch Interchange will be closed from 6am to 12.30pm Sunday 19 January 2014. The car park, located on Rond Terrace off Parks Way, will be closed from 2pm Saturday 18 January to 1pm Sunday 19 January.

Barriers as well as warning and diversion signs will be erected to alert people of the closure.

The ACT Government thanks the community for their patience.

Oh is that why. I was hoping it was so they can put in place the beams on the 2nd bridge on the Parkes Way duplication project.

Here’s hoping ComCen are better with street names than ESA’s media people are.

Looks like someone let Mr. Insadent back at the keyboard again. Is this a competition in the ACT government to see how many spelling and/or grammatical errors can get published in media releases?

The Police are winning at this staje, but it’s grate to see so many new competitorz.

They appear to have made corrections on the ESA website now, but surely that could have been done before posting it?
