Pedestrian Orchestra bows out for now

The final Pedestrian Orchestra (at least for now) took place last night and after six months of meaning to get along, I finally did.

Every Wednesday night for close to the last 12 months a shed in O’Connor has played host to a loose collection of people who just want to play to an audience and those keen to listen.

Over the last year it’s probably done more for local music development than all the arts grants going.

If the convenors Joe and James decide to start it up again we’ll be sure to let you know about it.
