A house fire in Kambah has been labelled as suspicious and could be linked to an outlaw motorcycle gang ACT Policing says.

It’s alleged that one or more people deliberately set the house on fire and police are calling for anyone who might have witnessed the incident or have dash-cam or security footage of the area to come forward.

The two residents were able to exit the house unharmed as ACT Fire and Rescue put out the blaze on Chirnside Place, Kambah, at around 11:00 pm on Thursday night.

Two vehicles at the house also had damage unrelated to the fire as police suspect that this was a targeted attack.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist police or dashcam footage from the Kambah area between 10:00 pm and midnight on Thursday night to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
