Police investigate 'targeted' shooting in Reid

ACT Policing are calling for witnesses after a shooting incident in Reid on Wednesday 21 December 2016.

Around 10.15pm, police were called to a residence in Allambee Street, Reid, after reports shots were fired into a premises.

Police attended and identified damage to the front of a residence. While the residents were home at the time, no one was injured during the incident.

AFP Forensic Services attended and examined the crime scene.

ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigations Team is continuing the investigation. Police believe the incident was targeted and there is no threat to public safety.

Police are seeking any witnesses or anyone with information regarding suspicious persons or vehicles in the area of Allambee Street on Wednesday 21 December.
