Monday, 24 June: ACT Policing has released an image of a man they wish to speak to as they investigate reports of two separate attempted abductions.

Officers had originally put the call out for information after a woman reported the first incident when she was running southbound on the greenbelt next to Athllon Drive, Mawson, at about 3:10 pm on Saturday (22 June).

She said as she ran past a man walking in the opposite direction, he grabbed her and tried to pick her up and carry her away.

“Following a short scuffle, the man dropped the woman and fled the scene on foot,” an ACT Policing statement said.
