Police have released a photograph of a car doing a burnout in a suburban street in the southern suburb of Theodore.

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to the public burnout that occurred on Saturday, 5 May 2018.

Police said that about 2.15 pm, the driver of a green Ford Falcon with New South Wales registration ‘CR4CKA’ performed a burnout on Ampt Place.

Officer in Charge Traffic Operations, Station Sergeant Marcus Boorman said this type of reckless behaviour was unacceptable.

“Reckless behaviour on our roads often results in collisions that can have disastrous consequences for those involved,” said Station Sergeant Boorman.

“We will continue to target those in society who behave like this and hold them to account,” he said.

Police are seeking anyone who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
