Police seek witnesses to alleged indecent exposure incidents in Kambah

A man has been arrested after being accused of indecently exposing himself in southern Canberra and police are investigating if there has been similar alleged behaviour in the area.

ACT Policing said a woman alleged an African man committed an indecent act near her car while it was parked on Kambah Pool Road at about 11:45 am on Friday (6 September).

The same man was also allegedly seen committing an indecent act in the front seat of a blue Tesla parked at the Kambah Number 3 Sports Ground at about 12:30 pm on the same day.

The man was arrested and charged with two counts of indecent exposure.

“Police are seeking witnesses to these incidents as well as information relating to other similar behaviour in the Kambah area,” a police spokesperson said.
