Police seize cocaine, cash, MDMA and ammunition

A police raid at houses in Bonner and Braddon has allegedly recovered ammunition, cash and a quantity of drugs.

On Friday (23 July), officers from Criminal Investigations, AFP Canine and Specialist Protective Command executed search warrants at residences in Bonner and Braddon after an ongoing investigation.

Police allegedly recovered around 1000 rounds of ammunition from the raid.

During a search of the residences, police allegedly located cocaine and MDMA with a street value of $70,000, about 1000 rounds of ammunition, a machete and $15,000 in cash.

They also say they found 2.5 kg of a suspected controlled substance hidden in a false wall.

Enquiries are continuing, and police have spoken to the people associated with these locations.
