ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a ram raid at the JB Hi Fi store in the DFO complex, Fyshwick, this morning (Saturday, 27 November).

About 5am, police responded to an alarm at JB Hi Fi at Canberra Avenue, Fyshwick. Upon arrival police found the roller door to the loading dock severely damaged.

CCTV footage shows a woman and a man arrive at the store driving what appeared to be a late model Toyota Hilux, or similar model car. The pair repeatedly reversed their car into the roller door to the loading dock. The offenders took a number of items before leaving in the vehicle.

Last year a ram raid on a roller door in Tumut was foiled by a forklift that was reverse parked inside the door. The forklift trick should be a common practice that would shock the s#*t out of a potential villain.

hmm, points towards the door, or away 😀
