The Australia Institute is inviting us to a conversation between Richard Denniss and Bob Brown.

Since the last time Bob Brown spoke to Politics in the Pub he has resigned from Parliament, created the Bob Brown Foundation which aims to help front-line environmentalists, as well as led a Sea Shepherd anti-whaling mission.

In an election year there’s plenty to talk about: the fight to protect the Kimberley from a gas hub, mining in the Tarkine wilderness, whaling and the plight of Sea Shepherd’s Paul Watson, as well as the local Green campaign to win a Senate seat in an election most are predicting the Coalition to win.

When: Wednesday 24 April, 6pm – 7pm (doors open 5.30pm)
Where: Lounge Bar, Uni Pub, 17 London Circuit Canberra
Cost: FREE no need to RSVP

Last time I tried to attend, the place was so packed I left because it was a fire hazard, even after they opened up a new room.

I think an RSVP would be a good idea.
