ACT Policing is investigating two north side ram raids which occurred last night (Sunday 21 July).
About 10.30pm thieves reversed a car into the United Petrol Station in Amaroo in what is believed to be an unsuccessful attempt to steal an ATM.

Then at about 11.40pm police were notified by the security of Yowani Country Club of damage to the front entrance of the club. CCTV footage showed a dark coloured station wagon reverse several times into the front doors. A person then briefly approach the ATM, turned and got back in the car and drove away.

ACT Policing is urging anyone who may have been in the vicinity of these incidents and noticed anything suspicious, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via the website www.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
