A leading real estate agency in Canberra’s north has joined forces with Ray White Canberra, strengthening the group’s presence in its original birthplace of Belconnen.

Symon and Heather Badenoch and Badenoch Real Estate’s team of 18 will bring more than 85 years of combined experience in the field to Ray White. Badenoch Real Estate has operated within the north Canberra region for more than 26 years.

The merger, announced on Friday 7 July, positions the Ray White Canberra group as one of the largest rent roll operators within the ACT.

Heather and Symon Badenoch say the team is excited about the next chapter and looking forward to servicing their clients with the support of the Ray White group.

“For us, the merger is all about being able to service our clients better,” Symon says.

“We have watched the Ray White team grow since they opened in Belconnen just 100 metres up the road from us and have developed a good relationship with them over the years.

“The agreement allows us flexibility to still provide our boutique service, now with the support of a larger, national brand.”

Ray White Canberra started life as a small three-person operation in Belconnen. With primary offices in north Canberra, south Canberra and Civic, the team has expanded to more than 120 real estate professionals.

With the addition of the Badenoch business, Ray White Canberra will manage more than $2 billion worth of property for over 3000 Canberra investors and will be responsible for selling nearly one in every 10 homes.

Ray White Canberra’s founders Ben Faulks and Scott Jackson, who are both locals, say they are immensely proud of their business growth over the past 13 years.

“We are delighted to welcome Symon, Heather and the team to our group,” Ben, who is the chair of Ray White Canberra, said.

“Their family values align perfectly with ours, and the commitment they’ve shown to serving their customers is something we’re proud to build on into the future.

“The Badenoch team that is coming across comprises highly experienced industry leaders with strong career aspirations, which we look forward to supporting.”

Ben said the values of humility, teamwork, customer service and leadership underpinned the guiding mission of the whole team.

“Ray White Canberra is obsessed with improving the customer experience and removing friction from the real estate transaction for consumers and agents alike.”

Ray White Canberra operates from two large offices in Canberra’s north and south, in Belconnen and Tuggeranong, and a third office in Civic.
