
ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to identify the alleged offender of the aggravated robbery at the Hot Lantern Chinese Restaurant in Jamison in the evening of Sunday, March 3.
Around 8.35pm, a man armed with a knife and wearing a motorbike helmet entered the restaurant threatening three employees before stealing a handbag containing a small sum of cash and personal cards.
The offender also took a sum of money from the cash register.
The man is described as 170cm (5’7”), of solid build and was wearing a black long-sleeved top and black pants. He was last seen riding a green two-stroke trail bike, most likely a Kawasaki, towards Bowman Street.
Prior to the aggravated robbery the offender may have parked his trail bike on the footpath outside Ricardo’s Café, Jamison Centre.
No one was injured during the incident.
