Explorative sound and visual art festival SoundOut returns to the Drill Hall Gallery this weekend for three days of experimental and improvised music. Vibraphone-piano duo Clocked Out heads up Friday evening’s offering before the likes of computer musician Charles Martin, flautist Clara Pitt and festival founder Richard Johnson (among others) perform in the gallery space.
Singer, songwriter and instrumentalist Xavier Rudd is also in town this week to celebrate his 10th studio album, Jan Juc Moon.
Canberra outfit Sesame Girl is set to celebrate a release of their own with the ‘Bored’ single launch at Transit Bar on Friday, supported by ARCHIE and Smart Casual.
