Canberra’s best climate-aware party band, An Inconvenient Groove, is returning to the stage this week. Their debut album, ‘alGoreRhythm’, is full of funk anthems that unabashedly encourage dancing and hard plastics recycling. They’ll be playing sustainable jams new and old this Sunday afternoon as part of Smith’s Alternative’s Spring Series.

Like a well-balanced bowl of their cereal namesake, Muesli is all about putting a smile on your face. Their pop songs are framed by intricate harmonies and a funk rhythm section, and you can catch them live at Smith’s Alternative on Saturday night.

sideway’s weekly band night continues on Thursday with appearances from Lily Morris and Jim Dusty Drive-Thru Garbage Casino. Gang Gang Cafe in Downer will be busy this weekend as well, with s.wells performing on Sunday evening.
