Sydney-based Canberran singer-songwriter Hedy Blaazer celebrates the release of her first studio EP this week with an intimate show at sideway on East Row. Joining her will be violinist Marcella Tonini and double bassist Will Hansen. Get there early to catch Ghostgum, Jim Dusty and s.wells in support.
It’s a busy week of music ahead at Smith’s Alternative. The city’s most beloved country punk party band The Snake Oil Preachers are set make a much-anticipated appearance on Saturday afternoon while Dorothy-Jane performs songs from her 2020 album The Witness on Sunday evening.
Local music collective Undine Records continue their residency at Downer’s Gang Gang Cafe this Saturday with singer-songwriters Yasmine Hosseini and Ghost Boy. These intimate, community-led shows are a regular sell out, so grabbing tickets early is recommended.
