Sydney Building bar Blackbird has a stacked week of live music coming up. Catch singer-songwriters Sophie Edwards and Tori Nikias on Thursday before the fusion guitar stylings of the Viktor Rufus Trio take over on Friday.
Sputnik Sweetheart is set to launch their brooding new single ‘Lindy Hop’ with a hometown show this Sunday. After a last-minute venue change, they’ll take to the stage at UC Hub with support from Lucy Sugerman and Muesli.
Local post-rock heroes Lost Coast are heading up a huge free show at sideway on Thursday presented by Art As Catharsis. Expect meditative sounds and slowly evolving sonic landscapes alongside interstate acts Lachlan R Dale and raven.
