Smudge & Mischief are a bonded duo looking for a home together.

Meet our lovable animals looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

This week, say hello to our ‘Pets of the Week’ – bonded duo Smudge and Mischief along with cutie Bailey!

Cats of the Week – Smudge & Mischief

Say hello to Mischief and Smudge! These lovely ladies were surrendered to the RSPCA after their owner passed. Now, they’re looking for a retirement home to live out their days. A little unsettled by the shelter life, you won’t find these two parading about their enclosure, but they much rather you come in and quietly spend some time to get to know them.

While they may be shy on first meeting, they’re incredibly lovely. Mischief is a little more reserved than her sister Smudge but loves a good chin scratch and a snuggle. Smudge likes to come out and say hello, and is always up for exploring!

The two girls would benefit from an indoor only home where they will be allowed to settle in at their own pace and are likely to bond to their new owner when they are given the time to settle in. They would like to live in a child and pet free home (but sensible teenagers are more than welcome). This bonded pair are patiently waiting for their new home and hope that 2019 will be their year. Can it be with you?

Dog of the Week – Bailey

Handsome Bailey is bound to capture your heart!

Need a good boy in your life? Bailey is THE man!

A lovely boy full of enthusiasm for life and ready for adventure, Bailey would make the ideal pet for most families. Bailey arrived at the RSPCA ACT Shelter as a stray, but it didn’t take him long to make us all fall in love with his handsome face!

He is working hard on his manners and is looking for a home where he will get plenty of exercise and enrichment to keep him busy. Bailey is best suited to an active owner who will include him in family activities. Bailey is a fast learner and would benefit from attending training classes. At just seven months old, he’ll need plenty of guidance to help him navigate the world. If you’re hoping to have a dog that loves attention and wants to be best friends, you’re in luck!

We recommend Bailey for a family with children eight years and older.
