Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

Coco and Marley are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These gorgeous animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.

Dog of the Week – Coco

Meet Coco! A pooch on a mission, the mission to find her forever home. Coco believes the people at RSPCA are great, but she wants nothing more than to meet a family willing to give her all the love and attention she deserves.

Coco is a darling girl who can take a little time to warm up to new people. But once she knows you, she will seek you out for cuddles and lots of love.

Coco is an athletic dog who could run all day long, so Coco is looking for a family willing to spend their time giving her plenty of exercise and the enrichment she needs to keep her happy and healthy.

Coco seems to be friendly with other dogs, so could potentially live with another dog-friendly playmate in her new home. Book an appointment with our team if you think Coco could be your perfect match!

Harley

Harley is an older gentleman looking for the perfect forever home.

Cat of the Week – Harley

Harley the cat is a sweet old man who found himself at the shelter as a stray. After some TLC this gorgeous boy is ready to find the perfect retirement home. Poor Harley arrived at the shelter with extremely matted and uncomfortable fur.

The handsome boy has since received a very stylish hair cut and is feeling great. Harley is the King of the Cattery as he walks around strutting his stuff for all the staff and volunteers. This means that Harley will need regular brushing of his beautiful long locks once they regrow to ensure he doesn’t end up in a sorry state again.

Harley would prefer to find a home with no young children. However, mature children aged 12 years and over could be considered. Harley will be required to live as an indoor-only cat to ensure he is kept safe and healthy.

Harley is an older gentleman and his new family will need to be committed to keeping on top of his medical needs which can be discussed with our staff. If you think you can make the remaining years of Harley’s life his best years, make an appointment via our website to come and meet him.

Visit the RSPCA at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
