RSPCA ACT’S very own ‘Most Improved’ award winner for people friendliness at the shelter! When he first arrived, he was a timid and skinny pup, lacking the confidence to make friends. But guess what? Kobe has transformed into a lively boy who can’t help but wag his tail with delight when he sees his favourite people!
Kobe is a typical bundle of puppy joy, bringing plenty of goofiness when he gets excited. However, what truly sets him apart is his insatiable curiosity and eagerness to learn new things.
This amazing pup is on the lookout for a patient owner, someone who can provide him with the guidance and training he needs. While Kobe is still mastering his doggy social skills, it’s all part of his exciting journey to becoming a good boy.
Kobe would benefit most from an owner with previous dog experience, someone who can create a fun and positive environment where he can thrive. With regular walks and a touch of house-training magic, you’ll see this lovable pup transform into a friendly and relaxed adult dog.

Cat of the week: Fable
Meet the lovely Miss Fable!
Alongside her siblings, she found her way to our shelter, where she’s been discovering that humans aren’t so bad after all. With the realisation that we offer delicious food and comforting cuddles, Fable has embraced the idea of finding a forever home.
This sweet and affectionate girl is gradually becoming more sociable, but on her own terms. She adores people and delights in head scratches and gentle pats all over her body. While she’s not quite ready for being picked up, her love for people shines through.
Fable finds solace in the presence of other cats and happily shares their company. She can be a bit of a food enthusiast, showing her hearty appetite. Surprisingly, dogs don’t faze her one bit. Although she prefers not to live with small children, she would be perfectly content in the company of a family with older children who can respect her personal space.
If you’re looking for a beautiful, loving, and sweet cat, Fable is the perfect match. With a little extra time and patience, she’ll bring endless love and purrs into your home.

Monday to Friday: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Sunday and public holidays: Closed.
