- Please note: The Cascades Swimming Hole at Googong Dam is temporarily closed due to construction work on the dam spillway. Gates have been erected at the entrance to the swimming hole to restrict public access and Rangers will be patrolling the area. The swimming hole will be re-opened as soon as there are no safety risks. The ACT Government apologises for any inconvenience.
