Temporary road closures for 2015 National Multicultural Festival

The ACT Government wishes to advise motorists and other road users of a series of temporary road closures in the city to allow for the National Multicultural Festival.

The following closures will take place from midnight Wednesday 11 February 2015 to midnight Monday 16 February 2015:

  • Alinga Street, between Northbourne Avenue and East Row • East Row, between London Circuit and Mort Street
  • Mort Street, between Bunda Street and City Walk.

The following closure will take place from 6 am Friday 13 February 2015 to 8 pm Sunday 15 February 2015:

  • Car park at the corner of London Circuit and Commonwealth Avenue (opposite Baileys Corner).

The following closures will take place from 6 am Friday 13 February 2015 to 10 pm Sunday 15 February 2015:

  • Ainslie Place, at the intersection with London Circuit • Riverside Lane, at the intersection with Ainslie Place

The following closures will take place from 10 am Friday 13 February 2015 to 9 pm Sunday 15 February 2015:

  • London Circuit, between Akuna Street and Northbourne Avenue • Verity Lane, at the intersection with London Circuit
  • Hillside Lane, at the intersection with Akuna Street
  • Bible Lane, at the intersection with Bunda Street
  • Car park at the rear of Baileys Corner.

Tocumwal Lane will be closed at the intersection with Bunda Street from 8 am Thursday 12 February 2015 to 9 pm Sunday 15 February 2015.

Barriers as well as warning and diversion signs will be erected to alert people to the closures. The ACT Government apologises for any inconvenience caused.
