Chief Minister Stanhope has announced the lineup for Civic’s New Year’s Eve extravaganza.
It starts at 7pm, outside the Legislative Assembly on Civic Square, with music by the Enourmous Horns, Tuchasoul, Limelight, and Chase The Sun.
In Garema Place he promises DJs counting down to midnight. Somewhat worryingly he says the DJs will be playing the “top hits of 2008”. It was not a great year but I’m guessing there will be a lot of The Presets in the mix.
Fireworks will be at 9pm and midnight.
