The Scientology booklets turn up?

By dannybear - 16 November 2011 32

scientology booklet

I got this booklet in the mailbox today in gordon, It seems like this is what was in those boxes from a previous post on the site.

The book is filled with guidelines on how to live but does not mention the church except for on a back page with details on how to order more and on the stamp on the back.

What’s Your opinion?

Anyone else see that Scientology had a channel 64 TV presence recently? Saw it on the digital TV guide a few days ago and had a laugh seeing youthful wide eyed presenters flog some anti drug message to death. Hopefully people have the sense to avoid the bogus crap on that channel 😀

they have their own channel? awesome comedy television.

I’m in Higgins and got one. We thought about having a ritual burning of it but ended up just tossing it out 🙂

Touche – well, however you spell it. Didn’t really want to google scientology at work, so borrowed the spelling from earlier in this string…….

Yeah, we got these last week in Braddon. Mrs Monarch was going through the mail and asked me “where do I know the name Ron E Hubbard from?”. I immediately thought of those boxes in the earlier riot-act post.

I don’t think Scientologists are interested in the bible. Hubbard wrote an alternative Religion Manual for them, about aliens and getting money off gullible people.

I got one in Watson. I didn’t even read the title before I binned it.

Ooh, I like the “To” and “From” sections on the front – makes it a great Christmas gift. Scientologists do Christmas, right? …right?

The only pamphlet I ever got from them was about the evils of using Ice. Graphic photos, the works – I thought it was a health initiative, but no, according to the ‘where to get help’ part, giving all your money to Tom Cruise is the only option.

::hopes no-one can sense limited knowledge of Scientology::

Yes it does – at the front page in very tiny writing it says this is from the Ron E Hubbard Library collection 🙂

Write “return to sender” on it and drop it in a mailbox. Worked a treat for the terrorism fridge magents.

You got terrorism magnets? no fair

I enjoyed this book, it was a mighty amusing read. Scientology has to be one of the funnier religions – all of them are crazy and hilarious but this one is just great . People are crazy.

Gee, I was hoping it was books of some sort. WtH booklets are positively yawn-worthy (though I’m still curious how widely they’re going to drop them across Canberra).

What do I say? It is about time that someone attempted at saving souls in that Gordon-Conder-Banks area..After all, it may save that whole area from being fenced off with barbed wire and mine field all around the perimeter. If I were you-I’d see this as an omen.
🙂
Amen
