Get your vaccinations and cocktails because everyone’s favourite “clown in a gown”, Bianca Del Rio, is returning to Australia and New Zealand with her new comedy tour “Unsanitized”! She’s vaxxed, she’s waxed, and she has more attitude than ever. The pandemic may be ending, but Bianca is just getting started.

Bianca Del Rio, otherwise known as Roy Haylock, is a dimple-cheeked, larger-than-life drag queen and outrageous comic who isn’t afraid to shock and offend. When it comes to insult comics, Bianca is in a class by herself. The fierce, funny, and fabulous Bianca will be performing this Friday night at the Canberra Theatre. Get your tickets quick!

If you’re a bookworm who loves to read and support charity, then come on down to Lifeline Canberra’s Bookfair this Friday, Saturday and Sunday to grab a few books and help raise much-needed funds for our local crisis support service. As the largest gathering of book lovers in the Capital, here you’ll find a wide range of fiction and non-fiction books, including rare books and collectables, children’s books, textbooks, and foreign language books. You’ll also find magazines and pamphlets, sheet music, comics, maps, and atlases, talking books, records and CDs, DVDs, games and jigsaw puzzles.

2022 Canberra Moon Festival at City Walk

After a two-year pause, the Canberra Moon Festival (CMF) is back in 2022. This is an annual event that brings families, friends, and communities together, to celebrate the meaning of Moon Festival harvest with a series of stunning performances, cultural activities, and gourmet street food. Running from 9 – 11 September, the Canberra Moon Festival intends to present the concept of “One Community, One World, One Big Family” to our beloved multicultural capital city.

It’s been a blooming long time but you can tiptoe through Tulip Top Gardens again! The soil is set, the flowers are blooming and the countdown is on as the Tulip Top Gardens prepare to spring back into life this September from Saturday 10 September to Sunday 16 October.

Known as one of Australia’s hardest working cancer vanquishing charities, Love Your Sister, hosted by Samuel Johnson is inviting the whole family to come together and raise money at their special Family Fun Day event. With only a gold coin donation required at the door, this day is guaranteed to put a smile on everyone’s face, while supporting a great cause within the community.

Taking place at the Harmonie German Club this weekend is the Spring German Markets. There will also be plenty of handmade craft stalls and other specialties, as well as a jumping castle and lots of entertainment for everyone.
