Have your children experienced the bland and forgettable cultural icon that is damper yet?
Well then you better take them to Tidbinbilla these holidays!
Don’t fret, it’s not just damper. There’s story telling, exploring, some activities involving animals. It all sounds pretty cool.
Except for the damper.
“During the month of July there will be a range of special activities at Tidbinbilla that offer children and other visitors the chance to discover the wonders of the local area,” said Lisa Hogan, Visitor Services Manager for National Parks and Catchments.
“Each weekend you can explore the Sanctuary and keep an eye out for platypus or learn about the corroboree frog breeding program.
“During the school holidays there will be a variety of activities for children, including Aboriginal art and a traditional Aussie bush experience with billy tea and damper on offer.
