I was supposed to have a baby (in Canberra) on 10 / 09 / 08. But baby didn’t wait for the 10th. I was really keen on that as a birthdate too.
And I have a friend in Canberra who will turn 30 on 10/10/10 – now that has got to be auspicious!
A straight will occur once a year for the first 12 years of each century. Similar combinations I like are when you throw in the time of day also, i.e. 01:01.01 01/01/01 or 01:23 3/2/10
