Autumn is a beautiful time in Canberra, and what better way to appreciate it then with an afternoon of tree planting in the Cotter Catchment?

Join Jindii EcoSpa, SEE-Change Woden and Greening Australia at our second tree planting event to support the Jindii Sustainability Fund – a program of activities that includes planting trees and fund raising for energy efficiency and renewable energy projects that will continue in 2013.

What to expect: Fresh air, family friendly fun, afternoon tea and seated massage (by donation).
What to bring: Please bring a hat, sunscreen, long sleeves, long pants, gardening gloves, sturdy boots, a water bottle and a mug for a cuppa!
How to Get There: Why not carpool with a friend or family member? Look out for the Greening Australia signs from Uriarra Crossing. The site is approx. an hour from central Canberra.
For further details and google map directions here.

RSVP Essential. Tree planting from 1.30 till 4:00 pm, followed by afternoon tea
To register, please go to our event page.

For members of the community who cannot make it to the event, you can have a tree planted on your behalf. Just make a donation to the Jindii Sustainability Fund by registering through www.jindii.com.au

21st April – this Sunday! In the beautiful Cotter Catchment: Plant trees. Eat afternoon tea. Get a shoulder massage. Plus: Now with lucky door prize (worth over $20 – I’d add exclamation marks but no matter how many you add $20 just isn’t that exciting).
