Local movie producer, Kris Kerehona, is making a movie: “Journey of Hope”. It’s about Mahboba Rawi and the 4,000 Afghani orphans who call her mother.

Every year an Afghan/Australian woman, Mahboba Rawi, travels back to Afghanistan to find poor kids and widows, and provide them with shelter, food, and education at the Hope House, an orphanage she established with funds raised in Australia. In past twenty years Mahboba has saved thousands of orphans and war affected widows who were living in the streets and in desperate circumstances.
