Do you love Beer? Do you love Physics? The RiotACT has two tickets (worth $88) to give to a reader to attend the awesome Physics of Beer event at Questacon next Friday 11 August. Even if you don’t like physics or beer, surely you know someone who does?
This August, Questacon is celebrating National Science Week by diving into the physics of the amber ale with ‘The Physics of Beer’. This is the latest in Questacon’s boutique adults-only event series, which sees a confluence of science and alcohol tastings. Previous topics have included the science of whisky and the science of gin. This two-hour experience includes interactive science demonstrations, exciting edible experiments with liquid nitrogen, and – of course – beer tastings, including some local Canberra favourites.
If you love science and adult entertainment at Questacon – don’t hesitate to book as these events are very likely to sell out.

We’ll let everyone know who the winner is in the comments below and on the RiotACT Facebook page.
Elias Hallaj (aka CBRfoodie) is a part-time food blogger and full-time political staffer who has joined RiotACT as a regular contributor. All his opinions about drinking beer are his own. Don’t worry he is trying to cut back on drinking too much beer, but insists it’s just too damned tasty. If you have any tips or feedback or advice about beer or brewing you can add a comment below or find him most nights on Twitter @CBRfoodie.
