Woman airlifted to hospital following single-vehicle crash near Yass

A 62-year-old woman has been airlifted to hospital in a serious condition after a single-vehicle crash near Yass on Monday morning.

Around 10:30 am, the woman was travelling north on the Hume Highway, north of the Yass Valley Way, when her vehicle left the road and crashed.

The woman sustained serious injuries to her right arm and was taken to Canberra Hospital by helicopter.

The woman is in a serious but stable condition.

Police are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage of the incident to contact Yass Police on 02 6226 9399 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
