XY Dumpling house gone?

I can take a photo if you want to see the sign…

There’s a big government sign on the door saying it has been forcibly closed for health/hygiene reasons…I wouldn’t miss it if I were you. It’s pretty serious for that to happen. Also they’ve left all their cutlery on the tables as if people are just going to walk right back in. Yuck!

After constantly witnessing plates and utensils left out overnight, I’d never trust XY in Belconnen.

I used to go here quote often. once a fortnight. it’s a good price for me especially during weekdays to be able to have an all-you-can-eat.

That’s just sad. their bland mango pudding is something that I go for every time.

I went to this place once…. The food was disgusting. Made me sick ! I’m still convinced they were serving us food from the day before reheated in the microwave.

The one in Cohen St in Belconnen was closed down by ACT Health on 1 June 2012.

Apeek through their windows during set up and fitout revealed dirty kitchen gear and crockery being used as ash trays, that did it for me, I was never going to be a customer.

A flatmate then had yum cha with Chinese friends there, they were disappointed by the poor quality of food, being told some items were vegetarian when they were not, poor service, hearing staff say ‘just get them out of here’ in Chinese after their party complained and an insect that turned up in their dessert. Word gets around …
