Come on Simto, everyone knows we’re working for the CIT, and that RiotACT is a front for the ACT Govt.

There’s a couple of them – aparently Crazy Chester thinks she (or possibly he – can’t remember now) has been treated poorly by our educational systems, and has been complaining about it to anyone who’ll listen. For a while, she/he thought we might be one of those people who’d listen. A couple of the more, um, litigious statements were removed from the site because of their litigious nature, and all hell broke loose for a bit.

Unfortunately, because her/his name is “crazy chester”, and they were posting on only one topic, we kinda assumed she/he was nuts. To be fair, most of the people who concentrate on only one topic are nuts. Or at least, extremely passionate, which tends to translate as “kinda nuts” for those of us who just post for shits and giggles.

Surprisingly, that name is actually a reference to a lyric in the Robbie Robertson and the Band song, “The Weight” (since covered by every group known to man, including Jimmy Barnes and the Badloves back in the nineties). We got a fair bit of abuse for not being immediately able to spot that one…

She/he also assumed, when we rubbished her/him, that we were in some kind of covert league with her/his persecutors. Which we’re not, as far as I know, just mocking her/him for the fun of it, basically.
