Canberra Centre car fire

ACT Fire & Rescue has responded to a small car fire on level one carpark at the Canberra Centre, Petrie Street in the city.

The car fire was extinguished on arrival.

There was no damage to neighbouring cars.

No injuries were reported.

Thermal imaging equipment is now being used to assess the scene for no further fire.

Crews were alerted following an Emergency Triple Zero (000) call at 11.48am.

Two fire pumpers, the Breathing Apparatus Van, The Bronto Skylift Hydraulic Platform and a Command Officer responded.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
