What was going on in Lyons early this morning?

We have had several rioters contact us asking about some commotion in Lyons early this morning.

Apparently at about 5am there were 50ish males being followed / escorted by roughly 15 police vehicles down Melrose drive, Lyons.

Does anyone know what was going on?

Marist had their grad ceremony at southern cross club on Friday night, I was there for dinner and there were a few having drinks in the bar beforehand. I would have thought the school would have frowned upon that- drinking in uniform. They were with their parents, so I guess they didn’t care.

From memory, the students from Marist get p$ssed and go marching down the street in the middle of the night to celebrate completing year 12. The timing is about right for this to be it..
