ACT Policing is investigating two unrelated stabbing incidents today.
At about 7:50 am this morning (31 January), police responded to reports of a 31-year-old man stabbed in the back after an aggravated burglary at his address on Werriwa Crescent in Isabella Plains.
The man was treated for his injuries by ACT Ambulance Service (ACTAS) paramedics before being transported to hospital in a serious condition.
Police believe up to three people may be responsible for the assault.
The first alleged offender is described as a woman, approximately 20 to 30-years-old, 170 cm (5’6”) in height with a slim build, black hair and a green ink tattoo on her neck.
The second alleged offender is described as a Caucasian woman approximately 50-years-old with a large build and 160 cm (5’2”) in height.
The third alleged offender is described as a Caucasian man approximately 160 cm (5’2”) in height with a shaved head. He was wearing grey shorts and a grey jumper.
Police urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident or observed a group of three people matching the description above near Werriwa Crescent who has not already spoken to police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website.

In an unrelated incident, at about 12:20 am today, a 28-year-old man was treated for lacerations to his chest, legs and arms at an address on Kerrigan Street in Charnwood by ACTAS paramedics before being transported to hospital.
Police believe up to three people may be responsible for the assault. The victim fled to another property where he received assistance.
