The ACT will lift travel restrictions on people travelling from Perth, the Peel and South-West regions of Western Australia at 6:00 pm on Friday (5 February).
The move is in response to the easing of lockdown restrictions across the affected areas yesterday, ACT Health said.
People who are in quarantine in the ACT after visiting an affected area will be able to leave from 6:00 pm today. They will be informed of the changes by ACT Health.
The eased restrictions for WA come just a day after the ACT imposed travel and mandatory quarantine on people who have visited more than a dozen exposure sites in Melbourne from 29 January.
Non-residents who have been to an exposure site in Victoria cannot legally enter the ACT but residents will be able to return and quarantine at home if they contact ACT Health and complete a self-declaration form.
