Missing person: Canberra man in New Orleans

Well-known Canberra DJ and genuine nice guy, Alex “Escha” Beddows 32, is missing in New Orleans. He’s even a member on Riot-Act – as “escha”. Here’s a New Orleans report.

Alex was holidaying in the USA with his Dad. He apparently went to the New Orleans Jazz Fest last Saturday (May 7) , where he met some people who invited him to a party later that night in Algiers, NO. Aside from apparent sightings in bars in the area, he’s not been seen since.

There’s even some CCTV shots of the people he caught the ferry to Algiers with. Surely someone knows soneone who knows them?

Alex’s father is still in New Orleans searching for him. Help spread the word, please.

Thanks for the optimism and assurance there EJ. Mardi Gras does equal danger, in fact street parades in general are like war zones. Didn’t look good for many in history who told their tale. Be positive.

I hope everything is okay – the term ‘assisting with investigations’ can have a lot of connotations as you’d know.
