Downer’s Gang Gang Cafe continues to grow as a live music space with another packed schedule of gigs on offer this week. Maisie Lyon and Endrey are set to host an intimate evening of songs and stories there on Wednesday, while Medschool, Dog World and Chloe Maguire are gearing up for a special Downer Dance Party on Saturday.
Sunday will see Girls Rock! Canberra taking over the Inner North cafe for their winter fundraiser, featuring Finn Burton, Flik and a solo Sesame Girl set.
sideway is also busy this week, with Ian Smelting, Jim Dusty and s.wells all on the lineup for this week’s Thursday band night. Acclaimed singer-songwriter Kelly Brouhaha is bringing her solo show to The Front in Lyneham this weekend and You Am I frontman Tim Rogers will be playing a solo set on Wednesday evening out at Capital Brewing Co on Dairy Road.
