The ACT has recorded 428 new cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8 pm yesterday, including 255 identified by PCR and 173 by rapid-antigen tests (RAT).
There are now 51 people in hospital, including three in intensive care and one being ventilated.
This brings the number of active cases in the ACT to 2618. Yesterday there were 489 new cases.
The number of ACT residents aged 12 and over who are fully vaccinated remains steady at 98.6 per cent while 58.9 per cent of ACT residents aged 16 and over have received a booster shot.
NSW recorded 8183 new cases and 32 deaths in the last 24 hours.
Victoria recorded 7724 new cases and 19 deaths.
