The evil owner of the only one TV channel and also of a range of retail businesses in this 1930’s imaginary town, carries out a sinister plan to control each and everyone that lives there. He will make use of a hypnotic machine to try to accomplish his evil project. Antenna is a multiawarded movie that depicts the dilemmas that surround mass media in our time and whose director pays tribute to great names of the film industry such as Fritz Lang and his “Metropolis”.

The showing of the film (90 minutes) will be followed by light food and beverages through the kind support of the Embassy of the Argentine Republic.

Admission is free. No RSVP required.

The comparison to Metropolis isn’t an idle one; this movie is basically a German expressionist silent film… made in Argentina. Definitely worth seeing for film buffs.
